Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy describes how Fraction Research processes, packages, and ships orders placed through fractionresearch.com. All orders ship from Columbia, South Carolina. For questions about a specific shipment, contact us at contact@fractionresearch.com.
Order Processing
Orders placed before 12:00 PM Eastern Time on business days are typically processed and dispatched within 48 hours. Orders placed after 12:00 PM, or on weekends or federal holidays, will begin processing on the next business day.
You will receive an email confirmation when your order is placed, and a second email containing your tracking number when your order is dispatched.
Shipping Methods & Rates
We offer the following shipping methods. All transit times are estimates measured from the date of dispatch, not the date of order.
- USPS Priority Mail — 2–3 business days · $9.99
- UPS 2-Day Air — 2 business days · $19.99
- UPS Overnight — 1 business day · $34.99
- Free Shipping — USPS Priority Mail on qualifying orders over $150
Rates shown are estimates. Final shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on your selected method and destination. We recommend UPS 2-Day or Overnight during warm-weather months (April through October) to minimize thermal exposure during transit.
Cold-Chain Packaging
All orders are shipped with insulated packaging designed to protect temperature-sensitive compounds during transit. Our seasonal cold-chain protocol is as follows:
- April – October (Warm Season): All orders include insulated foam liner and two ice packs. Orders are dispatched Monday through Thursday only to prevent packages from sitting in carrier facilities over the weekend.
- November – March (Cool Season): Orders include an insulated liner. Ice packs are omitted as ambient temperatures reduce thermal risk.
- Year-Round: Every shipment includes a desiccant pack, tamper-evident seal on each vial, and the lot number printed on the exterior label for COA verification.
Geographic Coverage
We ship to all 50 United States. We do not currently offer international shipping. P.O. Box delivery is available for USPS Priority Mail only — UPS shipments require a physical street address.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to verify the legal status of any compound in their state or jurisdiction before ordering.
Address Accuracy
Please verify your shipping address carefully before completing checkout. Fraction Research is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrectly entered address. If you identify an address error after placing your order, contact us immediately at contact@fractionresearch.com. We will attempt to correct the address before dispatch, but cannot guarantee changes once an order has shipped.
Extreme Weather Holds
We reserve the right to hold orders during periods of extreme heat, severe weather events, or carrier service disruptions that could compromise product integrity in transit. You will be notified by email if your order is placed on a weather hold. Orders on weather hold may be cancelled for a full refund at any time upon request — see our Refund Policy for details.
Order Tracking
Your tracking number will be emailed to you at the time of dispatch. Use the provided tracking number on the carrier’s website to monitor your shipment. If you have not received a tracking number within 3 business days of placing your order, contact us at contact@fractionresearch.com.
Damaged or Lost Packages
Report damaged or lost shipments within 5 business days of the expected delivery date. See our Refund Policy for full details on the claims process and eligible remedies.
