Research Use Only — defined.
The “Research Use Only” (RUO) designation means that the compounds we sell are intended exclusively for laboratory research and scientific study. They are not intended for use in or on humans or animals under any circumstances.
This designation is consistent with FDA regulatory categories for research-grade chemical compounds. RUO compounds are distinct from pharmaceutical drugs, dietary supplements, and veterinary products, which require separate regulatory approval processes.
Fraction Research markets and sells all compounds strictly under this framework. Our product listings, labeling, and communications are intentionally free of therapeutic claims, dosing guidance, and any language suggesting human or veterinary application.
Our compounds are available to qualified individuals and organizations engaged in legitimate scientific research, including:
